Established in 1985 Redlough Landscapes provides the full range of Landscaping and green skill services both to the Commercial & private client. Over the last 25 years we have built up a strong client base and a reputation for high quality work, delivering results to the customer's satisfaction. We specialize in providing client focused solutions in Landscape design, installation, grounds maintenance, commercial development, and planting.

Redlough employs in excess of 40 full time employees which includes a full management team. All management and supervisors are horticulturally qualified with over 100 years of experience between us.

Liam Loughnane

Co founder of Redlough Landscapes

After graduating in Commercial Horticulture Liam started in career in Arboriculture with Southern Tree Surgeons. In the 70`s tree surgery was in its infancy and many new developments took place around that time. Many new skills were developed involving tree work in many of the large stately homes throughout Ireland. During the late 70`s Dublin County Council started to develop regional parks in North Dublin and Liam joined Dublin County Council (Parks Dept) and was involved in the development of Malahide Castle. Works involved the development of playing fields, cricked grounds and a golf course, along with infrastructural works to enable the park to cater for extensive use. The development of the Talbot Botanic Gardens in Malahide Castle involved the extensive cataloguing of a extensive range of plants and developing the gardens for public use. In 1984 Liam left to establish Redlough Landscapes, which has grown to be one of the leading landscape companies in the country.


Liam Redmond

Co founder of Redlough Landscapes

Liam graduated from the Salesian College, Warrenstown with a diploma in commercial Horticulture in the late 1970’s and worked alongside co director Liam Loughnane at Malahide Castle for the Parks Dept of Dublin city council. Liam heads up the contracts division at Redlough and brings his considerable experience to bear on commercial projects, where his tight cost control and attention to detail ensures they are delivered on budget and to the required standard. He also has overall responsibility for our grounds maintenance contracts which forms an important part of Redloughs business.


Derek O Reilly

Contracts manager

Derek has  been with Redlough for over  20 years and  has  been an important  factor in the  growth and  development  of the  company  over  the  years. He joined  the  company  as  a  general operative and  has  progressed  through the  ranks ever  since. He has  unrivalled practical and  technical knowledge  in commercial development, grounds maintenance, sportsground construction and machinery and equipment. He has supervised our large scale projects to a value in excess of €1m. It is his responsibility to ensure  that deadlines are  met while maintaing the  health and  safety of all employees on site. He is certified as  a  first aider and 'Managing Safely in Construction' ( IOSH )

Derek is very popular with his colleagues and  keeps lines of communication open between all members  of  staff.


Darren Joyce

Contarcts Manager

Darren joined redlough in 2009 . He has over 20 years expierence in the horticultural trade and studied in the National Botanic Gardens and also achieved the Gold standard plant care award from the HTA (Horticultural Training Authority). Darren worked in a leading dublin garden centre for 14 years and from there set up his own Landscape & Design company. Darren manages the domestic landscaping side of our business and oversees  all the projects from inception to completeion .Darren produces wonderful and practical designs to suit our clients needs and budgets , he is very customer focused and provides and excellent service to all our clients .

Redlough's Customer Charter

 

We are committed to ensuring that when you have your garden landscaped or your grounds maintained by us you are completely satisfied with the experience. You also have the reassurance of knowing that we are Bord Bia accredited through the landscape Quality programme. To ensure your complete satisfaction we have developed a Customer Charter. This means that you can be assured that we have the necessary skills and experience to meet your needs. The Redlough charter states that employees must be:

  • Properly trained and certified for the  work they carry
  • Qualified in landscaping
  • Supply Bord Bia quality cert
  • Provide a minimum of 6 satisfactory customer references of completed work within the past two years
  • Supply a minimum of 2 satisfactory trade references
  • Maintain all the relevant insurance cover including public and employers liability
  • Follow the agreed complaints resolution procedure.
